Kültürel ve Ekolojik Hayatı Koruma Derneği’nin                  koordinasyonunda dünyanın farklı noktalarından katılımcılarla gerçekleşecek Uluslararası KültürEkoloji Buluşmaları bu yıl başlıyor. Köyceğiz Ekincik Sanat Evleri’nde 9-15 Eylül 2024 tarihleri arasında gerçekleşecek Buluşmada ilk ders “Sanatın Doğuşu”. Usta sanatçıların ve ekoloji alanında uzmanların yürütücülüğünde birçok atölye çalışmasının yer alacağı Buluşmada aynı zamanda doğa yürüyüşleri, tekne gezileri, film gösterimleri, toplu oyunlar ve müzik dinletileri de olacak. Farklı kültürlerin birbirlerini tanıma fırsatı bulacağı kamp dönemi boyunca İngilizce-Türkçe ardıl çeviri hizmeti de sunulacak.

International CulturEcology Meeting

The International CulturEcology Meetings will kick off this year, bringing together participants from all over the world for the first event, scheduled for September 9–15, 2024 in Ekincik, Muğla/Köyceğiz under the coordination of the Cultural and Ecological Life Protection Association. The meeting will open with an introductory course entitled “The Birth of Art”, after which numerous workshops will be hosted by master artists and ecology experts, interspersed with nature walks, boat trips, film screenings, collective plays and musical performances. Consecutive English-Turkish interpretation will be provided during the camp, where people from diverse cultures will have the opportunity to get to know each other.

WORKSHOPS

Bu atölye / söyleşide bir üst yapısal kategori olarak sanatın toplumsal alanda; üretim ilişkilerinden bağımsız olarak düşünülemeyeceği üzerinde durulacak, sanatın aynı zamanda “ideo/politik” bir anlama sahip olduğu vurgulanmaya çalışılacaktır. İdeolojik bir söylem düzeyini de içerisinde barındıran sanat pratiğinin toplumsal alanla bağları aktarılmaya çalışılacak olup aynı zamanda sanatın tarihine kısa bir bakış gerçekleştirilecektir.
In this workshop/interview, art is defined as a superstructural concept that cannot be considered independently from the relationships of production in the social field, and as something with also ideo-political meaning. The ties that art maintains with the social field, which have also an ideological discourse level, will be explained, alongside a brief overview of the history of art.
Erkan Oğur, Cenk Güray ve Ali Fuat Aydın bu atölyede bağlamanın Anadolu'daki yolculuğunu takip ederek müziğe dair hafızalarını, geçmiş ve geleceğe dair fikirlerini söze ve sese döküyorlar. Teoriden, icraya, tarihten, felsefeye, müzik ve ötesi ile ilgili herkesi de bu ortak hatırlama yolculuğuna davet ediyorlar. Atölye çalışmaları içerisinde Kopuz, Oğur Sazı, Divan Sazı, Abdal Sazı ve Tanbura gibi sazların hem tarihsel süreci hem de icra teknikleri yer alacak.
Erkan Oğur, Cenk Güray and Ali Fuat Aydın trace the journey of the bağlama in Anatolia and pass on their memories of music and their thoughts about the past and the future through words and sound. They invite anyone with an interest in the theory, performance, history and philosophy of music and its anteacts to join them on this common journey of remembering. The workshops will delve into the historical development and performance techniques of such instruments as the Kopuz, the Oğur Sazı, the Divan Sazı, the Abdal Sazı and the Tanbura.
Yaratıcı drama yöntemi ile farklı kültürel geleneklerden gelenler olarak öncelikle birlikte oyun oynayarak; tanışmanın, iletişime geçmenin, anlamanın, anlaşmanın ve üretmenin keyfini yaşayacağız. Oyunlar oynarken, doğaçlamalar yaparken geleceği birlikte hayal edip, yeniden kurmanın provasını yapabileceğiz. Doğru, yanlış gibi bireysel yargılardan uzak, kolektif üretimin güzelliğinin farkına varacağız. Yani yeniden çocuklar gibi keşfetmeye, eğlenmeye, merak etmeye, sınırsız hayal etmeye başlayacağız.
Adopting a creative drama approach, we will experience the pleasure of meeting, communicating, understanding, comprehending and producing by playing games together as people from diverse cultural backgrounds. Through games and improvisation, we will have the opportunity to envision and co-create the future together, while discovering the joys of collaborative creation, free from individual judgments of right and wrong. In other words, we will remember how to explore, have fun, wonder and dream without limits, like we did as children.
Ritimhane Berlin’in düzenleyeceği Erbane Atölyesi, ritim dünyasına adım atmak isteyenler için bir başlangıç noktası sunacak. Atölyemizde, Erbane'nin temel tutuş ve vuruş tekniklerini öğrenmeye başlayacağız, ardından birkaç geleneksel ritim üzerinde yoğunlaşarak çalma becerilerimizi geliştireceğiz. Daha deneyimli katılımcılar, ritim süsleme tekniklerini geliştirme fırsatı bulabilecekler. Atölye zamanlarının dışında, festival sırasında bulacağımız boş zamanları değerlendirerek bir araya gelip pratik yapma fırsatı sunacağız.
The Erbane Workshop, organized by Ritimhane Berlin, provides an entry point for people with an interest in exploring the realm of rhythm. The workshop participants will begin by learning the fundamental techniques required for holding and striking Erbane drum. The playing abilities of the participants will then be enhanced with a journey through a selection of traditional rhythms. The more experienced participants will have the chance to refine their rhythm ornamentation techniques. In addition to the scheduled workshop sessions, we will make use of any available free time during the meeting for informal gatherings where we can practice together.

Hazır görseller, çizim vb. teknikleri kullanarak gerçekleştireceğimiz kolaj atölyesinin amacı kişisel dünyamızın dışa vurumunu hep birlikte değerlendirmek ve birbirimizi daha yakından tanımak olacaktır. Dillerimiz veya kültürlerimiz ne kadar farklı olursa olsun hayata bakışımız ve ondan ne anladığımızı hep birlikte yeniden keşfetmemizi sağlayacak bu çalışmada, görsel dünyamızın ortak dilini deneyimlemeye çalışacağız.
Participants in the collage workshop will make use of ready-made visual materials, drawing techniques and other talents to collectively explore the expression of our individual worlds, fostering deeper connections among the participants. Differences in languages and cultures will be overcome through our sharing of a visual language, allowing us to reconsider our perspectives and interpretations of life together.
Amacımız, katılımcıların bakış açılarını, duygularını ve becerilerini geliştirecek yeni bir biçim yaratma süreçlerini (yalnızca teknik destek vererek) birlikte deneyimlemektir. Malzeme olarak kâğıt hamuru kullanarak yapacağımız çalışmalarla geri dönüşüm malzemelerinin kullanımını arttırarak yeni malzemelerin keşfini sağlamak istiyoruz. Tüm katılımcılar yaptıkları çalışmaları yanlarında götürebilecekler.
Our goal is to collaboratively engage in a creative process with the necessary technical support, allowing the participants to develop their perspectives, emotions and skills through the creation of new forms. Making use of recycled materials, we will utilize paper pulp as a core medium, while encouraging the exploration of new materials. The participants will be invited to take their produced works home with them.
Resim kişisel yaratım süreçleri için bulunmaz bir sanat disiplinidir. Gerçekleştirilecek bu atölyede tuval bezi ve boyalarla birlikte organik materyaller de kullanılarak içgüdüsel yaratım pratiği deneyimlenecektir. Atölye çalışması küçük gruplar halinde gerçekleştirilecek ve çalışma sonrasında tüm çalışmalar ortaklaştırılacaktır.
Painting is a distinctive artistic discipline involving personal creative processes. In this workshop, the participants will engage in instinctive creation using organic materials alongside canvas and paint. The workshop will be conducted with small groups, after which the participants will work together on collaborative projects.
Bu atölye/söyleşide günümüzde çokça kullanılan sürdürülebilirlik kavramına yakından ve tüm yönleri (sosyal, ekonomik, çevresel) ile bakacağız. “Greenwashing” kavramı ile beraber, sürdürülebilirliğin şirketler için ne anlama geldiğini, karbon ayak izi, su ayak izi, LCA (Yaşam Döngüsü Değerlendirmesi) gibi kavramları yakından inceleyerek, tarım ve gıda sektöründeki sürdürülebilir uygulamaları mercek altına alacağız. Ayrıca, ekolojik bakış açısı ile sürdürülebilirlik ne anlama geliyor ve biz neler yapabiliriz gibi konuları da masaya yatıracağız.
This workshop/interview will take the form of a comprehensive exploration of the concept of sustainability, considering its social, economic and environmental dimensions. We will delve into such topics as “Greenwashing” and make a critical examination of what sustainability entails for businesses. Concepts such as carbon footprint, water footprint, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and sustainable practices in agriculture and the food industry will be subjected to close scrutiny, and discussions will be held on what sustainability means from an ecological perspective, and what we can do.

Geniş kapsamlı bir nemlendirici olan balmumu, inanılmaz derece rahatlatıcı ve koruyucudur. Ayrıca çatlamış cildi rahatlatır. Balmumu cilde bakım yapar, besleyici ve nemlendiricidir. Bu atölyede balmumu teorik bilgisi ve eritme yöntemi ile balmumu mumları yapabilme teknikleri anlatılacak ve kısıtlı da olsa mevcut seyyar imkanlarla pratikte uygulanacak. Atölye çalışması içerisinde arı ve arıcılık hakkında bir söyleşi de yer alıyor.
Beeswax, a by-product of honey production, is a highly celebrated ingredient in make-up and skin care due to its moisturizing and protective properties. It is a comprehensive moisturizer that is both relaxing and protective, with nourishing and moisturizing properties that can soothe chapped skin.In this workshop, the theory behind the benefits of beeswax, as well as beeswax candle-making production using the melting method, will be explained and applied in practice with the limited mobile facilities available. The workshop will also include an interview about bees and beekeeping.
Permakültür, yerel bilgi ve sürdürülebilir teknolojinin bir sentezi, etik, ilke ve uygulamaların uyumlu bir kombinasyonunu sunan kapsamlı bir çerçevedir. Sanatsal yaratıcılıkla işlenen bilimsel bir tasarım sürecidir. Permakültür tasarımının yaratıcı pratik uygulamaları, doğada var olan tasarım ilkelerinin keşfine dayanır. Bu keşif süreci, doğadaki örüntülerin ve döngülerin bilinçli bir şekilde gözlemlenmesine ve anlaşılmasına dayanan bir sistem düşünme biçimi oluşturur. Bu atölyede öncelikle permakültür'ün temel kavramları üzerine bir sohbet gerçekleştireceğiz. Ardından, permakültürün ilk ilkesi olan “gözlemle ve etkileşime geç” ilkesinden yola çıkarak, katılımcılar içinde bulunduğumuz yer ve zamandaki örüntü ve döngüleri fark edecek ve bu gözlemlerini tercih ettikleri tekniklerle sanatsal bir ifadeye kavuşturacaklar.
Permaculture refers to the synthesis of indigenous knowledge and sustainable technology as part of a comprehensive framework involving the harmonious combination of ethics, principles and practices. It is a scientific design process that is expressed through artistic creativity. The creative practical applications of permaculture design are based on the discovery of design principles that exist in nature. This process of discovery encourages systematic thought based on the conscious observation and understanding of the patterns and cycles in nature. This workshop will open with a discussion of the basic concepts of Permaculture. Then, drawing upon the first principles of permaculture, being observation and interaction, the participants will search for patterns and cycles in their surroundings, and will express themselves through art based on these observations using their preferred techniques.
Teorik ve pratik içerikleri birleştiren bu workshopta sanata dair güncel söylemleri anlayacak, ekoloji ve iklim krizi odaklı sanat uygulamaları hakkında bilgi alacak ve kendi yaratıcı fikirlerimizi ve projelerimizi oluşturacağız.
This workshop, which combines theory and practice engages with current discourses on art, ecology, and environmental crisis, and encourages participants to make small creative responses to the topics discussed.
